Check it out, I just posted a rough outline of a new tune "The Fault".
It makes me want to punch emo kids. Then feel bad about it later.
I'm sure I'll listen to it tommorrow and want to change some stuff, but I want to post it now. It's kind of a mess, and needs some transitions fixed but I'm impatient!

Put on your listening ears!

Wow, great tone dude - what model did you use on the Podxt? The riff at 43 seconds grooves really hard, and I like the boominess - I don't find it overpowering

ooooooh. Duh/ I see what you mean! I think it's my stupid "bass" again. But my POD is a Tredplate, but I'm using Boogex with guitarhack Impules. With some EQ tweaking to get rip of some "wump" I always get. Let me get a couple missions of GTA in, and I'll post my tone, and screenshots and whatnot!

at about 1.20 and 2.15 needs to be a little louder
maybe a litlle verb at 3.00 to enhance it a bit

Is it the same Guitar preset on both sides?

Yea, I recorded it at different times, and I kept tweaking the tone, so that's why it changes. I'll rerecord it eventually. And yes. it is the same preset on both sides. And I really have to get some headphones cause I've noticed, what I find normal, more then one person describes as "boomy".

Dang man! :43 sounds brutal!!!!!

How do you get your kick to sound so good?

D20,
In this forum I posted my DFHS settings, routings, and EQ, and whatnot. I tweak them everynow and then. But you can get the jist of what I do. Basically I bus the kick to two separate tracks, then use one for the "clickiness" then the other one for the "thump" with a little RBass Waves plugin. Do a search for "DFHS" And you should be able to find my stuff! And thanks for the compliments.

Could you write something about guitar and eq, more details? How you achieve that great tone?

Sure! No probalo. I think on it's own you might be slightly dissapointed, but when I get home i'll type some stuff up, and do some screen shots!
