Police attacked the demonstrators in Barcelona.

The police here have some rules, like they wont use rubber balls shotguns until the situation is fucking critical...ok, so when they had 1000 ppl sitting on the ground, with their hands in the air, did they really need to shoot them with rubber balls?

In this pic you can see almost 50 shells from the shotguns, and some of those balls. The police said this afternoon that they just shot 6 balls...

It may have been very hard for people there to resist the tempation of fucking killing some of thos cops.
There were 350 mossos d'esquadra and 90 local cops, there was 500 demonstrators sleeping when cops arrived, not even 2 hours after that, there were more than 1000 protesters!

There has been people demonstrating in front of spanish embassys in the states, also in a lot of countries. There has been more than 700 demonstrations all over the world during the last week :headbang:
Now they're trying to expand this, from the #spanishrevolution, to #europeanrevolution and #worldrevolution!

I'm down for the world revolution. I firmly believe that the main reason that we (the UN countries) have enemy countries is because we have exploited third world countries and interfered with revolutions for special interests. The same special interests that have left us citizens of these countries like Spain and similarly the US with nothing but a broken economy. The fact that the anti-riot team assaulted non violent protesters just shows that their commanders are afraid of loosing their power and are trying to do everything they can to stop it.

Join the fight!

Last week we had a protest to legalize hemp here in Brazil. As usual, the police passed a law forbidding the protest just a few hours before it happened. They do this so they can claim that the meeting was illegal and they can use violence to stop it. Take a look at what happened (specially the scene at 1:05):

After that, people organized a much bigger protest against the police violence and for the freedom of speech for the next week (it will be tomorrow). As usual, they just passed a law forbidding it a few hours ago. People will still go. Things are going to get uglier and uglier, but the people will always win. The pigs are pushing and we are reaching the threshold. When the shit goes down, their badge won´t protect them from a molotov rain. I´m also going there tomorrow, and all I can say to our brothers in Spain is to refuse/resist.

I hope the Spanish cause gains momentum because it needs to in order to get real results. At the same time, it needs to stay peaceful in order to A) retain cast iron credibility and B) respect the fact that the "pigs" as you call them are just very misguided versions of all of us. Division is the cause of this problem and any other before it, to disregard that is to start another conflict.

Sorry bro, but I can´t relate at all with these cowards pieces of shit that hit a guy in a wheelchair.

This picture reminded me of one that have been shot two months ago. The pig using pepper spray (a weapon that is illegal to use even at war on some countries) on a little girl.

They're far closer to you than you think. The key to peace between people is coming to terms with general human nature in yourself, if you can't see yourself in others then you are half of the division. My first reaction to watching those videos was adrenalin against them, which really isn't much different from what they were feeling, the only difference was a few labels were shifted around.

The people beating can't relate to the people sitting either.

Why the Fuck would you just sit there and let someone hit you with a stick..Fucking move...I dunno some of these people are so fucking stupid...some people need a good stick to the head

That´s because they don´t answer to authority, they answer to their dreams, ideals and what is right.
Everytime a pig lift his stick, the protest becomes bigger. Not in size, but in importance, because the only victim of their strikes is the freedom of everyone. People realize that. People get pissed.

Ever heard of this dude?

Dude, if we react violently, we screw up EVERYTHING, if we attack the police in Barcelona, there will be 500 more cops coming to us, and there will be cops going to Madrid camp, Bilbao, and hundreds of other camps in Spain.

Cops achieved something yesterday, they attacked people that was peacefully demonstrating, now everyone in Spain saw the images, people from all over the world, like people in this forum, saw this, people that didn't even knew this was happening.
A week ago there was 8000 people at plaza cataluña, yesterday...I don't know, but I think more than 20,000. There was more people than any other day in my town camp, more people went to every fucking camp in Spain.

We can't act violently now, if we do that, we'll get nothing. But if we stay peacefully against them, with time and hard work we will change things.

Hopefully more people over the world will start to demonstrate and start the fucking world revolution!

Something I loved about this attack yesterday, the protest became bigger in size and importance everytime the police attacked, the demonstrators called for more people through social networks, so everyone that was avaible went there, and the ones that were working, like me, were just waiting 'till we could go there!

Oh I'm not saying React Violently that's dumb that's just gonna get you hit in the head again with a stick....I'm saying if I got hit with a stick, then that's time for me to go home and play some music or something, the party is over at that point.....But i understand change needs to be made and they are trying to make a point

Getting hit by a stick and going home means there was no point at all for you to even be there. These people are protesting against a government that has lead them to the drains, much like what's happening in Portugal. Only difference is that no one does this in Portugal, probably to coward to even care. If the police arrived and everyone got home, the government wins, that means the police is the medium used to shut people up? I thought Spain was a democracy

yeah that doesn't make sense at all, that just shows the government how easy it is to shut people up

Yeah I think its absurd when an organisation that is meant to be protecting the people is really a physical safeguard for government interests.

You see this all the time though, the police force caters to mostly just a bunch of vitriolic fucks who are out there to kick the shit out of punters for fun at the beck and call of government as opposed to the people they are supposed to serve.

The dude in the wheel chair picture is the worst. I didn't see any protesters being violent in that first video either. Pretty fucked up.

After years of police abuse , whe learned the hard way how to handle it. LOL

We had no problem at the protest today. It was pretty big, 5.000 manifestants. The police was there but there was no violence. Spain was remembered in shouts and banners.

AWESOME VIDEO :worship:. That flying kick at 0:25 was just poetry. I wish I could pay a beer to the skater that owned that pig.
