Police attacked the demonstrators in Barcelona.

So, Barça won the champions leage, thousands of barça fans came to a place near plaça catalunya to celebrate, the cops had to fight them, but they couldn't get into the plaça. When mossos went to one of the squares entries, 3000 guys went there and started to shout "Go away" with signs saying "Peaceful resistance". The cops turned arround and leaved!

There was more than 52000 people, counting demonstrators and barça fans over there.

The police attacked the protesters in Paris this afternoon. I still don't have images about the attack, just some of the cops before attacking people. They even threw tear gas to the protesters that were demonstrating at the bastille.

Their job isn't to relate. Their job is to nullify their humanity, and to control the populace.

I don't see the point in demonstrating against having not enough money. If the people of a country voted the wrong governement and the state is bancrupt, it makes sense to save money and lower wages. Otherwise it would endanger Europe's whole economy

We are not demonstrating against having not enough money, we complain about a bad work from our goverments, they are making new laws that just screw our rights as workers. We protest about corruption, and the shitty democracy we have here.
If you read about all this shit happening you will see it's not about money.

Today we had a strike in Spain, and once again Barcelona had big riots.

I was there today, it was pretty fucking crazy, cops shooting plastic balls directly to the people (they are supposed to aim to the ground so balls don't hit you directly), one poor guy lost an eye, a friend of mine got hit on the leg...etc

here's a little video I could made, just when the cops were kind and nice with us...then the real madness started, when they started shooting a lot more and hitting people, even a grandpa that was just walking away because we obviously couldn't run...

They almost hit me with one of their vans, almost got hit by several plastic balls, but I was lucky enough...and I run like a motherfucker when needed!

So that is why my flight to Madrid back and forth was cancelled two days ago and only did the Bournemouth afterwards, or why it was impossible to have our planes fueled and had to tanker fuel from the other destinations. I had no idea it was this, I thought it was again a strike from the Spanish controllers who still find something to complain about after being the most paid in the world while being close to be the worst (I give the 1st prize to the Italians)

I don't get the barca celebration fight. Was it really just for football celebration, or were there protests in the air as well ?

I don't know anything about a barça celebration, those videos are about the protests, nothing football related, and all the riots I know about are about the protests.
The cops blocked the people inside plaza catalunya, so people couldn't follow the demonstration, so a lot of people was trapped there, surrounded by cops, and as always, some cops dressed like normal guys started to burn things and throw stuff at cops, so they could have a reason to shoot people.

But I think if you couldn't fly here it was because of the strike, there was this strike in the whole country, and also there are a lot of strikes from Iberia pilots.
