Getting ready to record my album and wondering which interface I should use. Which DI is better?

Guitar > 3ft mogami > interface > Reaper. Guitar is my custom build with Carvin neck through and Seymour Duncan full shred.

A is louder so it's always going to win. I don't hear much difference when I turn the volume down on the first clip, for a fairier comparison of course

'A' is quite a bit louder, yes.

not hearing a drastic difference between the two after adjusting volume. still, i'd go with A.

Well I tried to make the volumes similar but failed. Thanks for the input so far. I'll reveal which is which tomorrow.

A: Mackie
B: Apogee

I really want the best signal so I bought a MacBook Pro and this Apogee One, thinking it was the best 1/2 input interface. I've always read that Apogee and RME are the best.

I probably should have spent my money on a DI like the countryman and my time practicing guitar instead of reading about interfaces.

Oh well, I can still record vocals with the Apogee.
