Pop/punk/rock/metal - female vocals, marshall, mesa etc

just finished tracking this band, one of the best snares i have recorded, was a steel black panther, nice and deep too!

got 2 different early mixes here, one with a marshall jvm 205H through a mesa cab, and the other a triple rec with a ts through mesa cab.

the marshall mix has some fucked levels, im still experimenting with different guitar tones etc right now.

I've listened newer mix.
i like all, only guitars sounds too retro for this style and may be vocal needs to be little quiter and more wet.

The voice needs some brightness, is too muffled. The lead guitar sounds harsh, a good delay a better eq could be the solution. Apart from that, the mix sounds really good. Love the drums.

drums sound amazing even on headphones! samples from the kit? or no samples at all?

i like the marshall the best, but the mix on that one was abit off compared to the others.
