Portnoy out of A7X

Dream Theater is PROGRESSIVE METAL. Losinga member, for whatever reason, will help them PROGRESS. Some of you people are reading into this too deeply. Let me put it simply:

DT rejects MP Part I.
Internet chaos ensues.
A7X drop MP.
Internet chaos ensues.
DT rejects MP Part II.
Internet chaos ensues.
The Butt posts in UMOS.
Internet chaos ensues.

I have a question: did Dream Theater dump Portnoy, or did Portnoy dump Dream Theater? Everything seems to suggest that it's the latter, and that makes all of The Butt's arguments moot. Dream Theater already supports side projects and solo works much more than many other band, so I am not sure what Portnoy is "slaving" over, as if he's the only member of DT that has been working his butt off.

My advice to everyone is to ignore "The Butt" as much as possible. His posting are just rants filled with insults and he is clearly trying to create flame wars.

If he continues his annoying behavior I will have him banned but for now just ignore his attention seeking.

If you want to be a part of this forum, actually this SITE, please find a way to express your opinion without resorting to attacking other members. I'm with Hawk on this issue, and hopefully Butt you'll find a more friendly way of venting your opinion.

He has already crawled back to those DT guys on his knees and they asked him to **** off. Since DT is one of those bands who'll sell albums no matter how crappy their music is I don't see why they will need Portnoy back.
