I failed on both because it doesn't recognise Windows 7.
Another game that got highly lauded but I'm kinda "meh" about was Dead Space (pictured in Gareth's desktop ) - I dunno, pretty impressive graphics, decently impressive atmosphere, but I am just so fucking sick of zombies or infestations or any of that crap, both as a plot device and as things to shoot at, and the story I found just kinda dumb, with unexplained elements and overly generic things (I love how people refer to the government as just "the government", like "oh, the government has known about this for years, it was all the government's scheme" talk about generic, it's like the paranoid rantings of some hippie Yahtzee's review for it was hysterical and spot on as well!)
dead space is quite good in my opinion, but I never played it until the end :/ (xbox version)
at least ea is bringing in some new franchises
