Believe it or not I do actually like all the subgenres of metal. Until you guys came along with all the recommendations and reviews, though, I never had one subgenre I definitively liked more than all the others. It was a just a matter of time until I was swept in one direction or another.

let's see... most recent aquisitions:
bruce springsteen- magic; live in barcelona
behemoth- zos kia cultus; satanica
drudkh- blood in our wells

Yea, I do too...it's actually not that I necessarily "like" brutal/slam death more, it's just that I feel in tune with it...I dunno, it's hard to explain.

This applies to me as well. Give me most kinds of metal and I'll listen to it. However, there are fewer genres that I actively seek.

I thought you already had Sempiternal Deathreign...or maybe you had the vinyl and bought the cd? Anyway great album either way. Mystic Charm is pretty good too I think.

Yeah, I had the LP version. Interestingly, the CD cover is significantly cropped and shaded darker...the LP cover is much better. They also use a different band photo, though it's from the same session. I don't remember whether or not the LP has lyrics like the CD does though.

So, instead of paying 17 dollars for 7 tracks (Decapitated), I decided to pay 7 bucks for 12 tracks (plus 3 hidden):

Napalm Death - Words from the Exit Wound
