Post your hauls here

I'm curious about how most people obtain their music.

Do you:

a) Buy CD's or LP's in store or online
b) Download on itunes or in some other way by paying $$
c) Download in another way
d) some other method

I have a big collection of cd's, but have been considering starting to buy on itunes. Is the quality generally good for itunes files?

I buy online constantly. Sometimes at fye, but sadly I can usually buy anything I see that I want from fye for cheaper, even with shipping included, online.
I buy predominately death metal and my normal haunts are
Amazon, Ebay, Discogs, Dark Descent, Hell's Headbangers, and Sevared/Comatose.

I've been buying Cds from stores for a long time but I really need to start buying them online. The albums I want are becoming harder and harder to come by in stores.

I live near Amoeba Records which is great. My girlfriend lives in San Francisco where there is an even better Amoeba- possibly the best collection of used metal CDs and LPs you will ever see. That's where I buy most my stuff.

I mostly buy new releases from the labels online and for rare stuff I mostly look to ebay. I also download (mostly bands I've never heard before), but I refuse to pay for a digital file.

Dysrhythmia - Psychic Maps (Japanese Import)
Genghis Tron - Board Up The House

:kickass:

Was just listening to Board Up The House a few minutes ago. I still need to get Psychic Maps. What I've heard of it sounds awesome.

Couple I just picked up:

Ulcerate - The Destroyers of All
Les Discrets - Septembre Et Ses Dernieres Pensees

Just ordered the CD's below:

Runemagick - Invocation of Magick
Purtenance - Member of Immortal Damnation
Aosoth - III
Skeletonwitch - Breathing the Fire
Skeletonwitch - Beyond the Permafrost
Skeletonwitch - Forever Abomination
Furia - Grudzien Za Grudniem
Furia - Martwa Polska Jesien
Midnight - Satanic Royalty
Rippikoulu - Musta Seremonia
Decrepitaph - Condemned Cathedral
Finntroll - Ur Jordens Djup

Usually A, but have been moving towards option B in the last six months. I've got a Zune and a zunepass. $15 a month gives me unlimited downloads plus 10 tracks I can buy/keep from the Zune Marketplace each month. The marketplace has a good collection to download from, but sadly no Cannibal Corpse or Vader.

Slayer - Christ Illusion
Slayer - Divine Intervention
Acid Witch - Stoned
Cannibal Corpse - Gallery of Suicide

Helstar - Burning Star
Helstar - Remnants of War
Helstar - A Distant Thunder
Helstar - Nosferatu
Mercyful Fate - Return of the Vampire
Megadeth - Hidden Treasures
Turbo - Dead End
Rigor Mortis - Rigor Mortis
Fatal Violence - Ashes Tell No Tales [CD+DVD]
Chemical Annihilation - Why Die? [CD+DVD]
