Well, Sao Paulo is a huge city with thousands of metalheads, so I guess that helps. The Metal Mall has been here for like 25 years or more. There are three amazing stores which focus on Thrash, Doom, Death, Black and Grind stuff. Some other 20 places selling heavy metal/hard rock cds, t-shirts, LPs, cassettes, pins, posters, patches, the whole deal.
A national release would cost some USD 12. The imports are very expensive, though. Most of the CDs I mentioned above costed like USD 30 (average). That's why I usually import directly from the best US distros.
