Belgium is a nice place, that town you're in reminds me of Ypres which I've only been to once (on a school trip =/) but It was cool, I'd definitely go check it out again

I'm going to Ypres in July, at least, we'll stay in De Panne, but it's relatively close to Ypres, we definitely want to visit the WW1 sites there.

Bruges is highly recommended if you're in Belgium again sometime.
