He has loads of good material, so you could probably get any of his work and get a flavour for him. The Outsider is comparatively short, and maybe a good starter.
I've said it before but when I was a teen and realised I didn't need to get nihilistic about absurdism it changed my life. I have Camus to thank for that shit.
All the Germans ever did, Goethe and Mann the exceptions, was remind me how boring prose can get, or how mad Germans can get when they resort to nothing but aphorism and falling in quasi-love with right wing composers!
