That entire route from Cortina to Fussen is littered with castles...it's really, really beautiful.

Highly recommend you don't do it in the summer. Too many tourists and traveling is a mess...insane traffic. 7,000 people per day visit the castle in August. SEVEN THOUSAND.

haha yeah, I was gonna say it's the "Disney castle" when I saw your pics, that's the common name for it at least.
I have been there YEARS ago with my parents....It's spectacular indeed. Well, the entire area of Bavaria is amazing.
