Translation per se with no meaning and for the sake of it is boring as fuck, but tricky things in which you have to look up for half the god damn text are fun, plus you learn a ton of new things. Still, my goal is interpreting (spoken translation), I don't like the prospect of spending my life translating huge ass books

Thanks. Speaking is probably better than writing because the kind of fuck ups I can do while writing (like e.g. writing "writting" instead) go unnoticed on speech. But when I relax and I'm speaking with friends in english the other day the cunt in my team we were talking about someone else's stick and I said "her" at some point and he cracked up for like 5 minutes. But that doesn't happen often luckily, so if I'm to choose I think I choose spoken as my best.
