Personnel News

Please welcome new drummer Gavin Ward to the Power Quest ranks. Gav did a fantastic job helping us out on the recent tour (after only 2 weeks to learn the songs and 6 hours rehearsal with the band) and we all felt that he was the right guy for the job both musically and personally.
Steve Williams is also working with Mercury Rain (in a writing/recording capacity) over the next few months on their new album. PQ and MR got on well on the recent tour and it seemed a logical move.

NeverWorld.

The new Power Quest album, “NeverWorld”, will be released in Japan on October 22nd through the Marquee/Avalon label and will include 2 bonus tracks. The European release is still to be confirmed but should be during November 2003 and will be through Now and Then Records. This version will also include a bonus video documentary which can be viewed on a PC or MAC.

Tour Aftermath.

The band would like to thank everyone who came out to see the shows in London, Bristol, Bradford, Derby and of course Bloodstock. The reception we received at Bloodstock was the icing on the cake for the week. Thanks to everyone who took the time to talk to us after each show and to everyone who picked up a CD or shirt. Unfortunately we had some merchandise stolen just before the Bradford gig and as a result we didn’t have many regular shirts at Bloodstock and no girlies at all. We’ll be getting another run of the girlies shirts ordered very soon and there will be a new shirt to tie in with the new album as well.
If you want to see Power Quest playing at a town or venue near you on the next tour in 2004, please send us an email and let us know!
