"Power Tab Editor" with a flash drive?

Can anyone tell me, more than I've already searched for and found no answer, if PTE can be made to run from a flash drive at all? I can't install it on my work computer, and there is stuff I occasionally need to open or want to create/edit while I'm there. If I could open the program from a flash drive, this would work immensely. I'll keep searching for info, but so far I've found nothing.

Tried the same thing for a long time with no luck, the only program I could get going standalone from a flash drive was Tabledit.

I'm totally gonna have to try this when i get home now... would make the time spent at work doing nothing go so much faster...

i'll post if i find a way...

The download link provided in the post does download, have not had a chance to try it however.

Just a little update - I tried the portable version of Tuxguitar out and it does indeed work for those looking for a portable tabbing solution. Just download the installer from the link in the thread I directed you to, install it on a flash drive. On first run, it will ask to install JAVA on your flash drive, let it, then a few minutes later you will be up and tabbing away.
