Some may remember the old Mesa 2x12 cab I snagged some years ago, which has been in a state of flux for years, but is finally almost finished. These cabs came from the factory with the top and bottom halves divided, and only the bottom-half sealed; needless to say, this did not sound too spectacular, so I got a big sheet of birch ply cut to cover the whole back (and two small sheets to cover those vents on the bottom), and then assaulted that middle divider with one of those big wobbly saws and cut it out as best I could given the awkward angles of working in there with a cutting appliance definitely not designed for the task. So here's how it is now:
Workable, I think, but I wouldn't mind spending SOME cash on a power tool that could open it up even more (and a bit more cleanly), but fuck if I know what - any suggestions? A sawzall, maybe?
