we're all prey to some kind of mythology anyway. most southlanders look to sweden and the likes as models of beauty and exotic attractiveness, whereas on the other hand northern people seem to assume that italy, spain, greece are those care-free, passion-wrought worlds.
it's not just that the grass is greener elsewhere... there's role models vehicled to us through what we read and see, too. tall, blond, clear-eyed, light-skinned boys and girls are shown on posters and tv in association to their - presumed - mythworlds. so is the typical not-so-tall (nobody ever stresses that aspect, though ), dark-skinned, dark-eyed, black-haired latin archetype, full of love and fuego.
i suppose the closer you feel to a certain idiotic paradigm, the more you hate it. i'm sure a lot of scandinavian people would tell us vikings aren't all they're cracked up to be after all.

as for chill pills, i take it that they're some sort of sedatives (that's 'chill' as in 'chill out, man' or 'take it easy').

Well, as I said, I'm from Spain. I'm 1.87 (not as tall as our mexican friend), and I'm blonde with blue eyes. And my skin never adquire more dark colour than milk! So... as we were saying, all these stoopid things are fuckin' and unreal stereotypes. But is funny to laugh with them, in't it?

I'm 1'76, so I'm not tall, but still I think I'm on the average of Spain (even youngsters are coming much taller than me) and also have blue eyes....Here is somehow rare to have them blue, so it's kind of special. I suppose is the other way round upthere...

well, i'm not exactly villain, but i suppose the post was aimed at me.

all the obvious plays on words on 'horny' lead to humorous titles for porn movies (would they make 'horny demons'?). an accurate italian translation for horny would likely be 'arrapato', which is not the kind of word you'd like to hear in any sex-intensive situation, at least if you're a decent individual.
