pres on the Mackie CFX16 mkII mixer

Hi all,

I have access to a Mackie CFX16 mkII mixer for a project I'm about to do. Are the mic pre's on it going to be better than my Digi 001? Is it worth taking the time to do some A/B ?

I use the CFX16 in my rehearsal studio b/c of the built in effects. If you're going to use it in a studio environment, DONT USE THE EFFECTS. They arent that good. As for the mic pres, Mackie's pre's arent great but they better than the 001s'. Good luck.
