Presonus Firepod Replacement

Hi
Yesterday I lost a presonus firepod's good buy (350€).
Since there are not many local bargains, I'm asking myself if there are some firepod replacements...8in/8out, 8 pre, firewire, midi in/out, etc...
I think Motu 8pre is one of these.
Do you have some good advice?

well if you are looking to upgrade I suppose you could go for a RME Fireface. I've heard nothing b ut great things about it.

Focusrite Saffire (rackmount one), FireStudio, FireFace800, MOTU 8Pre...

I'm sure there are a couple of others out there.
