pro tools 7.4 users: HELP!

Hey guys, been having one or two issues with 7.4; and wanted to check if i'm alone.

Firstly, the waveform overviews occasionally come up completly shit,
secondly i have a session thats just freaked out after having mixed it, claiming that some regions have been removed or truncated??

I've had some weird shit happen on 7.4

Sometimes the region waveform will be there, but no audio will playback. And sometimes there will be nothing there, no regions, just the grid and audio that isn't there but is a little later in the session will playback. I've only had this happen on one or two sessions and it happened after the sessions had gotten really big and there was tons of stuff going on. Saving a new copy of the session fixed the problem.

Also, I just sent out some sessions to be mixed and one of the tracks in the session was moved from its original place. I heard this once I got mixes back, he had no idea that it was moved because it was syncopated and still in time with the song. Those sessions were sent as PT 6 sessions though they were created in PT 7.

Nothing major or unfixable for me, but it's pretty damn aggravating. Make sure you have the latest CS update, sometimes those take care of weird shit like this. Speaking of which, I think I'm going to go check the digi website for that reason...

I think an update to 7.4.2 came out recently.

Yeah I only put it on my leopard mac. My other mac is still running 7.4

I don't have these issues that you point out.

Watch out when you import audio to not just slide it in your window, you need to do "import-->audio"

I have no problems with 7.4...

I 2nd that, but I am using 7.4.2 on Leopard. No problems whatsoever though. Yeah, I would contact "Support".
