I need advices from you guys.

I got the drumtracks from the sessiondrummer and the problem is, that since the hits are in different velocitys, some of them (weakest) gets lost in the whole mixdown. I'm very bad at this, but I guess I should use compressor for them?

Also other advises about mixing the drums would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Not just yet exactly, but I have noticed that everyone who speaks English as a second ( or even third language ) always says "advices" or in your case "advises".

Just say, "do you have any advice". You dont have to pluralize, or make it like you are asking for more than one advice, which would be advices *which is not an english word*

Just say.. " thanks for the advice ". Or "seeking advice".

I am learning Japanese, with Hiragana/Katakana/Kanji, so I know where you are coming from. Just that I see it so often, the word "advices".

My ramble is now over.. time for study and then sleep.
