PROFIRE 2626 (dumb question alert!!)

Hey guys, I have a profire 2626 and would like to have more pres at my disposal.

If I pick up, say, the UA apollo - is it possible to connect the two for a total of 12 preamps? If yes, would I be able to use the UA apollo for the converters/monitor control and still have the profire pres at my disposal?

just use adat ports.
make UA apollo master clock if you use single adat cable going from UA ADAT OUT to 2626 ADAT IN.
or if you connect them with two cables you can use 2626 as master. just connect UA ADAT OUT to 2626 ADAT IN, and vice versa.
once you get this right you are set to use all preamps!

looking at technical specifications of UA apollo...
I assume you are going to use UA as a primary card and 2626 as a preamp extension?

then just swap places in my previous post for connection scheme.
also make sure you connect 2626 to you computer and configure it's usage in standalone mode prior to swithching to UA apollo as a primary card.
