One day I'll post a history of my metal concerts... but suffice it to say that it's been a LONG time since I've gone to a concert. There was a Savatage concert up in Washington DC back in about '98.... and that Poison (!!) concert a few years ago.
Other than that, we're talking early '90's.!!
I'm older, wiser, and a bit more 'buttoned down' and conservative... This was my first PP event, and I have to admit that the old pictures in my head of drunk and disorderly guys (and girls) in black Moshing and being obnoxious were prominent before I got there Friday...
I want to put a big shout-out to EVERYONE at PP!! That was the BEST behaved, MOST CONSIDERATE crowd I've EVER Seen, regardless of Venue or Genre of music!!! Honestly, when you're standing on the floor, and someone bumps into you and then turns to you to say 'excuse me" GET REAL!! Awesome!
Sure there were some jerks.. like the 6+' guy that got in my F***ing way during Camelot, only to spend the time talking to his friend and laughing at the singer....
But overall, it was incrediable how well behaved and well mannered everyone was!!
