Also you can right click the piano roll notes to preview the sample being played with that specific note.

Is Slate just samples or does it have a full programming interface like SD2.0? If it has an interface, how does it compare to SD2.0?

I see SD2.0 is down to $149 if you do a google shopping search. That's cheaper than the EZD crossgrade.

Has anyone tried BFD? I have Addictive Drums and they do sound really good, but you have to work with them lots.
