PT 7.4 ... WHERE is the option,

to make it start playing at the EDIT LINE and not wherever I plop the play-start marker on the bar/beat ruler??! this is like the fifth time an obscure option seems to have spontaneously switched itself and i'm left poking through menus for an hour with no luck

details: i'm trying to edit drums. ordinarily, i tab to a transient, hit spacebar, and expect play to begin at that transient. but it doesn't. it starts at the play-start marker, which i need to move around by clicking directly on the mins/seconds ruler. another tricky one to search for!

WHERE IS THIS OPTION!

found it, tiny little toggle button under the zoom tool that says "Link Timeline and Edit Selection"

I remember when I had that problem. Might have fixed it by accident.

yea, i thought it was... i effed with that a bit and turned it on for a temporary solution, but see my second post.
