I have no idea how to do it...the only video software i have is iMovie can i do it in that? or is there a way to do it from pro tools?

Just figured it out...literally just drop the damn thing right into pro tools...and yeah the vid is on my comp, it seemed like it would be a little more complex then that lol

can i ask what format was it in??

It was just an AVI file that a buddy recorded with his "iflip" i think...if you want send the file to me and ill see what i can do with it and send it back to you

nah its cool i got it sorted, he wanted some samples from the Bronson movie sorted

Yeah dude literally just drag and drop and you should be good..I have PT8 btw so idk if its a new feature or not

In quicktime you can just "export as....wav." Other free tools that might work are ffmpeg or mpeg streamclip.
