If I ever think of you
The same moon shines
The same wind blows for both of us
And time is but a paper moon
Be not gone

On the (w)hole they are a bit homo but theres some excellent tracks in there -

White Man
Prophets Song
Im in Love with my Car
Let Me Entertain You
Take My Breath Away
Son And Daughter
Who Wants to Live Forever
Innuendo
The Show Must Go On
Death On 2 Legs
Get Down Make Love
More Of That Jazz
Play The Game
Dragon Attack
Scandal
Tear It Up
Is this the World we Created
Gimme The Prize
Princes of the Universe

Are all excellent tracks that deserve loads of respect. Its too easy to throwaway Queen as a Gayband due to their 80% camp material, which i often do. But if youre not familiar with the above tracks get them now and burn a double cd or sth

80 % camp. Saying that is disrespecting allready!!! Great band and the first band I became a devoted fan off. Still like them a lot, and the songs you mention are just a tip of the iceberg....

my favs are

Teo Torriatte (cos the song, cos japanese, cos my name..)
Sail away sweet sister
Spread your wings
You take my breath away
My melancholy blues
Another one bites..
Bohemian r.
Drowse
You dont fool me
Scandal

though i must admit that many of their songs are too syrupy or annoys me...

Probably the best band ever, imo. Here's a list of GREAT songs, for the ones who might be interested, arranged by album:

QUEEN: "Jesus"
QUEEN II: "Some Day One Day", "White Queen", "The March Of The Black Queen"
SHEER HEART ATTACK: "Lilly Of The Valey", "Flick Of The Wrist", "In The Lap Of The Gods", "Killer Queen"
A NIGHT AT THE OPERA: "Death On Two Legs", "The Prophet's Song", "Seaside Rendezvous", "'39", "Bohemian Rhapsody"
A DAY AT THE RACES: [everything] "Tie Your Mother Down", "You Take My Breath Away", "Long Away", "The Millionaire Waltz", "White Man", "Teo Torriate", "Good Old-Fashioned Loverboy"
NEWS OF THE WORLD: "We Are The Champions", "We Will Rock You", "Spread Your Wings" (this one was also covered by Blind Guardian), "It's Late", "Melancholy Blues", "Who Needs You"
Jazz: "Mustapha" (haha, great song! :)), "Jealousy", "Let Me Entertain You", "Leaving Home Ain't Easy", "Dreamers Ball", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Fat Bottomed Girls", "Bicycle Race"

then comes a "dark" period, imo, with some rather mediocre albums. Then back to the great works with:

A KIND OF MAGIC: "One Vision", "A Kind Of Magic", "One Year Of Love", "Princes Of The Universe" and of course "Who Wants To Live Forever"
THE MIRACLE: "I Want It All", "Breakthrough", "Rain Must Fall", "Scandal", "Was It All Worth It"
INNUENDO: "Innuendo", "Headlong", "I'm Going Slightly Mad", "Don't Try So Hard", "Ride The Wild Wind", "Bijou", "The Show Must Go On"
MADE IN HEAVEN: "Made In Heaven", "Mother Love", "I Was Born To Love You", "Too Much Love Will Kill You", "A Winter's Tale" (the last song Freddie ever did, one of my favorite songs of all time, really moving)

And some more good tracks from the "dark era": "Is This The World We Created?", "Hammer To Fall", "Tear It Up", "Keep Passing The Open Windows" plus some more I can't remember right now.

Also, Mercury's solo works had some good tracks, but they're really different (Dance, Pop, Rock and some '80s-bleah styled things.....) But overall, Freddie Mercury is most probably my favorite artist of all time...............

i was in boogie nights in town last night getting pissed up with vinny and lee and her mates from work. they played radio ga ga and it sounded like one of the best songs of all time like

oh aye the full bit. sang every word at the top of me voice as well. did a bit of kareoke before that in some pub in town. did hey jude and lee did a few dead good. then she made me get up to do a duet of dont go breaking my heart and i murdered it. didnt know it at all like :)

My very first real favourite band, the first 4 cds I bought were Queen's, "The Show Must Go On" is still one of my favourite songs. And "Sail Away Sweet Sister" and naturally "Bohemian Rhapsody". Used to like May's "Too Mush Love Will Kill You" very much as well.
