I decided I'm selling my ns10s after a couple of years with them and moving onto something else.

Previous to the ns10s I owned bm5as, which i liked and didn't at the same time.

I don't have a huge budget so can't really go all out on Opals or barefoots.

I was locking more into the likes of Focal CMS65 or Neumann KH120.

Anyone knows such a pair or any other recommendations?

there's not too much I can help with, but just curious why you wouldn't want to keep something like ns10's or auratones as an additional pair to check things on?

Because I might as well use iphone earbuds for that or mbp speakers. I can't really get the full potential of them without a ridiculously priced amp anyway,
(I heard the difference, it is quite noticeable) so might as well just get rid of them, it has come to a point where they just annoy me lol

We already had a chat about this but the ones I've tried that i really liked was the Focal Twins. Did a few mixes on them a couple of weeks ago. They all turned out perfectly balanced the first time I used them, which is pretty awesome. And i know you like midforward monitors since you used ns10's so those will fit the bill!

Other then that i am now a Genelec 1031 fan. Didn't like them at all first but now when im used to them my mixes are sound better then ever!

In a lower budget I bought the JBL LSR305 5". Wow, the best that I heard not needing to break your pocket.

Dynaudio BM15a (first generation) or adam s3a.
Dynaudio BM6a are great too (again first generation).
Unity audio The rock are great also... or go with the old 1031a if you can listen to them...

Or buy a Bryston amp used:lol:
