Question about a Drummer...

yup heard the name loads but never heard him play.
isn't his talent wasted on someone like sting?
african american marque gilmore is also pretty damn good!

Didn't Vinnie do some stuff with Joe Satriani awhile back. I have some of his stuff with Sting, but it is scaled back to fit in with the music. Speaking of Satch, Jonathon Mover who played with him for awhile is another un-friggin-believable player. His solo on "Time Machine" is NOT POSSIBLE!!!

Also, I went and saw the Queensrhyche, Dream Theater, Fate's Warning (YEAH JOEY VERA!)show in Orlando a few weeks back. Mike Portnoy is amazing to watch. His drum set was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. It was HUGE. I spent $90 for VIP seating on the balcony and had great seats. After Mike's kickass solo he came to the front of the stage and tossed out a signed drum head. Being the amazingly gifted athlete that I am, I soared over everyone and snagged it in Mid Air!!! SWEET!!!!

It now hangs over my Yamaha drumset in my jam room and is now my prized possession!!!

I would trade it in a heartbeat for a Charlie though!!!

jazz drummers rule over other drummers.
they are just way advanced i think.
anyone heard dennis chambers?? check out his stuff with guitar genius john mclaughlin. amazing.

billy kilson can do a drum roll with one hand!! that is impressive!
in his drum solo at the dave holland gig it sounded like 2 drummers were playing but 'out of time' from each other. simply amazing...
