Question About Avatars....

I have a question regarding AVATARS. I went to the edit profile page and clicked on chage avatar but it said the administrator had disabled them. My question is, can I use a picture taken with a digital camera as an avatar? I've reduced the size to 100 hundred pixels and I now it says to put the URL, but what URL do I put if it is a picture I've taken myself and have saved on disk? Pardon my ignorance, any help is appreciated.

because of bandwidth problems, UM can't host the avatars anymore. So everyone has to find a host for their avaters themselves. out it on your ISP's server and use that URL instead.
