Question about Pronouciation

Okay, I kind of got in a debate with a friend of mine about the pronounciation of Bodom. I prounounce it Bodum (O like open, dom like dumb). I've always pronounced it like that and I swear that's the way it's prounouced because that's what I hear when Alexi says Bodom in songs. My buddy is saying that it's prounouced Bod-om (Bod like body, om like amish). Since I am just a little American with no knowledge of the Finnish language, I thought I would come to you guys for help.

So it is Bodom, the pronounciation that I thought. Why is it that on the Silent Night Bodom Night Live sounds like Boodom?

Well, on the other hand, if you listen to, let's say Live In Seoul bootleg, Alexi says: "Lake Buuuudommmmm!!!!"

So, I guess you can pronounce it pretty much the way you want to..... Although I would say that you should pronounce it either Bodom or Buudom.
