Hey , just wondering about this situation. I have some vocal tracks (panned dead center) that I accidentally bounced as stereo wavs , but I want them as mono. If I split them all into two mono tracks each and delete one of the tracks , would that degrade the audio quality at all? Just curious because that would save some time , as I seem to make this mistake pretty often

Even if you exported them as stereo tracks, they are still in mono (i.e. the signal is equally represented on both sides, same as a mono signal).

You can re-split them and delete one without any degradation.

I can do that , but like I said it would take way longer than just splitting them to mono and deleting one side of the stereo wav

A few DAWs have an option to sum the stereo signal to mono. Don't you use reaper?

EDIT: NVM, read the signature.
