Eric's Mesa Boogies. I think he uses Triple Rectifiers or like the old Strategy 500 power amps with a Mesa pre-amp.

Someone else can tell you better.

I believe this was his rackmount Rectos, of which he has a couple, I think. It's definitely a Mesa Rectifier series amp.

You could wander over to Sneap's forum and ask...

haha, i would ask Mr. Sneap, but the guy never answers any of my questions. But I'll take your guys' word for it. It sounds more to me like a Triple Rec head, but it very well could be a rackmount Mesa. Only Eric Peterson knows.

I believe - I can't remember clearly, 'cause I _had_ been drinking - that he had a rackmount Triple, which I didn't think they made, so I could have just hallucinated it.

Sneap usually prefers Duals, I think. They probably used the "Tubescreamer trick", too. We dialed up a very similar tone using that method and Road King on 6L6s...
