We just got the "Best Unsigned Band in 2005" award voted by the readers of Zero Tolerance magazine.

Which was nice.

Indeed... choice of bands is fine and dandy. I believe someone pointed out UK:MU earlier, definitely worth a butchers.

I'd also mention Sikth. And Tangaroa (especially if you like LOTS of sweep picking!)

Oh... and yeah, One of those bands James mebtioned is REALLY good. I'm not biased AT ALL... honest.

Haha, sounds like fun - I wouldn't have minded but the studio were supposed to be looking after my stuff, not renting it out to every shoddy band that turned up

I've been doing the same thing for years, looking for the next decent band with a great vocalist - the next gillian, dickinson, halford...I guess it will more than likely come from Europe, maybe Jorn Lande and Masterplan, Primal Fear, Candlemass(latest album - awesome)
