Is it copyright infringement if, as a hidden track at the end of a cd, I have a backwards message in the form of Nevermore lyrics? The sound being sold would not be the sound sold by Nevermore... Just a weird idea I had

No it is not copyright infringement....take it from me, the resident Intellectual Property Attorney here on the boards. I passed the NJ Bar Exam last year and work as an attorney in a computer law firm in Short Hills. I'm taking the NY Bar Exam in a week or so....I better get back to studying....but yes, you are not infringing imo.
