I just bought a rg1527 pick ups are kinda muddy really want to change them. I took a look at emg707's and 81-7 . any other suggestions?

Dimarzio Blazes and Evolutions are pretty tight. D- Sonics are great for the heavy Petrucci Rhythm.

Hey marshall787878,

I love the Bareknuckle (Cold Sweat and Mule) pickups, so I would recommend those. If you can't get them then I would recommend an SD custom and an Air Norton. I don't recommend emg as you have to router out the guitar and the tone is a little steril. JMHO
