I tried this and i seem to have some huge problems with my room! I guess its supposed to be the same level all the way through the sweep. My room goes from normal on the low and then gets real quite and then loud toward the end.

I'M kind curious how this works for you guys.

This is a good idea, but it's important to note that the human ear hears different frequencies at different levels, even if their amplitudes are the same. For example, with a much smaller amplitude, the perceived loudness of a 1kHz tone is the same as the perceived loudness of a 100Hz tone. I didn't word that very well, but you get the idea. Our ears are more sensitive to certain frequencies.

Yea this is just low freq its 40-300hz though.

Yes and as you can see that range doesn't vary that much.
