What does this mean? Im very curious...and i THINK i saw it in a nother song as well...or maybe i was just lookin over the funeral portrait and didnt know it...but im extremely curious as to what he means by that. if anyone could help that would be great.

Well it's probably a bit like how modern day German's might feel - stained by the acts of their Nazi forefathers? I dunno just a guess.

I would have thought the words are pretty self-explanatory. The persona/subject/whatever considers himself/herself unfairly tainted in the eyes of others because of some misdemeanors by his namesaked ancestors. Same idea as what Takinthemusicback said.

nah it just means your actions in your lifetime can affect your childrens lives. thats all.

It could mean many things, thats why I try not to question quotes like them, it leaves more to the imagination.
