Metallica would have still went down the drain regardless imo. Cliff would have probably quit. Lars and James are to egotical to care if another band member did not like something or had musical opinions. Lars thinks it's his band, james also thinks it's his band.

I've still never seen anyone play bass like he did. John Alderete and John Myung are the only people to come close.

I meant egotistical. Regardless if lars and james started it other members should be respected. Neither or bob rock gave to shits about kirks opinions or imputs on the last album and he's pretty much been in the band early on. As far as I know lars knows nothing about guitar so he should shut his mouth.

I totally agree. And it's not like he did all that much songwriting for the band, anyways. They would probably be pretty much exactly the same today if Cliff had not died. I never saw jason as being gay. Maybe someone has stereotype about how homosexuals are from TV and it's harder to detect if someone might be gay that has nothing to do with pop culture. In real life i've never come across someone where I thought to myself that person is gay, but if you watch TV you can tell right off the bat if someone is gay.
