rack mounted tube screamer

Make one, shouldn't be harder than extending the pots with 2 wires, adding an 1/4 jack for the switch, and a couple of holes on a rack casing! Maybe some paint.

No time and lost interest. Plus I couldn't find enough information on what I would need to remove/add/change/bypass in order to use just the preamp.

I sold the Jr to a friend of mine though so it's still around.

get a behringer on ebay, get shit out, put tube screamer in, viola

Would that really fit in one? I mean they are pretty big, even for a behringer rack

a bit small for a rack dont you think? your only going to take up a small amount of the rack and it means you have to haul around larger stuff with you if your gigging. sure it would look great but its not practical unless you were to chain more pedals into it

Imagine!

A tube screamer/EQ/Delay/Chorus/Whatever, all chained together and controlled by one pedal :OMG:

I originally considered rack-mounting my TS because I only use it for recording, and honestly, I really don't want any spare crap lying on the floor or on the tables.

I had mine on a sliding rack shelf ( with 3m velcro) with a dunlop dc brick powering them ( I had a ts9, sd1 and mxr distortion +)...you can even have the di's there so there's nothing on the floor.

Seems like a cool idea... Im thinking of doing this little project since Im in need of a tube screamer :D
