Even Cold Lake is better than Monotheist.

Well, I'm like one of the only people that doesn't consider Cold Lake as an abomination. Not an album I listen to very often, but it wasn't really terrible. Or glam for that matter.

But either way, Monotheist was an amazing album.
I do understand why people hate it though.

Monotheist was good on its own, but it was a pretty bad Celtic Frost album.

It may have sounded different than the first three, which are amongst the greatest metal albums ever released, but I think they reinvented themselves. It was a different band, but still Celtic Frost. Not that many bands can pull that off. So they should at least get credit and recognition for that, even if someone hates Monotheist.
