I went to see Exodus at the beginning of it:

venom were GREAT. I have a feeling they will not come to the US for a long time due to
poor ticket sales in some places... shame shame. I grew up on their evil thrash, so I had a blast.

So, after Venom I went and saw Celtic Frost, 1349, and Sahg for 2 nights ina row (which is also the reason why I think I got a terrible flu.. someone was sick on that concert... I think I stood too close to that sick person... BLAH!)

SAHG are from Norway, they play stoner/ doom/ metal with Black Sabbath touches. They have one Gorgoroth member with them, Tom, who is also the only gorgoroth member who can enter to the US.. haha
(this guy is funny... he loves Mexican beer... go figure!)
I have to say I really digged them a lot: great stuff, and their CD is not bad at all, check it out when you can:

THEN.......... one of the best live shows I've seen lately came on stage...
WHAT A SHOW!!!!!! I enjoyed every song, every beat every second!!!

Cronos on stage in august did say there was a chance of another US tour soon since saying something about being allowed in the country for a while or something, not sure the entire deal with that... but then again low attendence would change that (I did my part dammit). Hopefully next time they come to the US (another 10 years or so) we'll get a FULL 'at war with satan'... heh.

For me just going in Jaxx and see the Banner for Celtic Frost on stage was like a dream come true...
who would have thought that in one week I will see Venom and Celtic Frost??????
One of those bands I grew up on, and never thought I'd be lucky to see live one day.. it was an awesome show!!!!!!

Then, sick as I am, I decided to stay at home at my birthday, one of my friends convinced me to just go out and have a birthday drink with her and have some dinner, so as we pulled over into my favorite restaurant..
My great friends from Arlington orgenized a surprise party for me!
It was sooo nice, and I had a blast: (which is why I think I got even more sick: I ended up staying up 'til 3 am... haha)

It was at Matsutake, my favorite Japanese Steak House:

I got a new addition to the family:

let me tell you his story:
Its a cute 7 months old bearded dragon, he had a problem in one of his legs,
and then at my store, the crickets nibble on it (sounds kinda gross) and as a result: we either needed to cut his leg, or put him to sleep..
This is why I love Petco: they will spend $450 on a surgery for an animal that cost $69, and then put him out for adoption...
So My boss (the animal cordinator of the district, I am just the animal cordinator of my store) didn't know if to approve the surgery because a juvenile Beardie sometimes doesn't survive the surgery... I faught for the approval (basically faxing budject facts to so and so in the corporate) and at the end: he got the surgery and now he is well and happy!
(with 3 legs)
I adopted the little guy, he is still nameless!!!! (so help me out)
and he is the best!
he sits on my shoulder, he is full of personality and I love him
he will be about 20 inches long:
