Why do people expect you to deliver the stuff you are selling? I have someone who wants me to drive an hour to him for $10 worth of shit.

I've come to the conclusion they think they are doing you a big favor buying your merchandise. That and they think their time is more important than yours and no one else could possibly be interested in the same item.

I've had this happen to me this past week twice, by the same person. The first item he said he'd take, but when I called him he "Couldn't talk right now. Call me back in a few days". He then contacted me about another item. "I live in Colorado Springs (140 miles round-trip), and my only day off is Saturday. Let me know if you want to meet up." Fucking people..........

CL PRO TIPS:
- NEVER USE EMAIL
- All unknown numbers go to voicemail
- If no voicemail is left, they are not serious enough to pursue the sell
- If your buying and they live an hour away from you, tell them that you live further away and you can meet 'halfway'. Then you just drive down the street and pick up your shit.
- ONLY accept cash.
- Don't be a pussy. SAY NO
- If they want you to deliver something, hang up.
- If they try to lowball you immediately, hang up.
- If they call back with a higher price, say 'OOPS, i put the wrong price on the ad, it's actually much more than that.'

Oh yeah. Same item I had for 60 bucks, it's been up on CL for a month now. Ever single day I've had that "still available?" question. I say yes, then no reply.

I think since it's a video game item that alot of them are young teens that have to save up their allowance, because I've never had this much trouble selling anything else.
