Swedish girls Jenny and Linda were on their way to a party on New Year's Eve when they were assaulted, raped and beaten half to death by four Somali immigrants. Sweden's largest newspaper has presented the perpetrators as "two men from Sweden, one from Finland and one from Somalia", a testimony as to how bad the informal censorship is in stories related to immigration in Sweden.

As far as my opinion on this goes... Its quite odd, the timing of this topic. At the moment here in Sydney there is a horrible gang rape case in the news, and it makes one pause and consider an apparent rise in gang rapes over the last x years.

Some may argue that there is a tie to immigrants as a cause, and while I have mixed views on this, I also would like to mention what I consider as an equally significant cause: raunch culture.

IMO raunch culture, now the most recognised & accepted social trend in Westernised countries paints a picture of acceptance of sexually unequal beliefs and a paradox of anti-feminist thinking within the minds of women who are part of it (although they somehow rediculously claim they're feminists).

However, it's from the male perspective that I think the cause comes from: the spread of ghetto culture where demoralisation of women is rife has now become an everyday part of your television, music, clothing and advertising.

Everything is now "pornographied", moral systems have been corroded and everything women fought for in the 1970s has been singlehandedly destroyed by "The Rise Of The Ghetto" and it's current day co-practice between blacks and the whites immitating them. The infiltration of raunch culture is so deep that even some Generation X'ers are jumping onto the bandwagon.
