rare prog from early 70s

dont forget larks tongues

power to believe is pretty good. dangerous curves is a pretty incredible song.

Has anyone heard or heard of an old heavy Italian band called Fingernailz? A buddy of mine said he heard them and it was killer, but I can't track down anything online. If anyone has a lead or info, it'd be awesome....

Hey NFU whats your thoughts on the new Circulus album?

i like it more than the first so far. ive had it about a month, and have only listened to it a handful of times, but i can say its definitely a step up. the songs arent quite as predictable and linear (i.e. incredible string band/comus/pentangle tributes), and i think theyre starting to feel out their own sound a bit more now. i can say the same for the new Espers album too, which ironically is of a similar style, although more folk than medieval influence. it seems the vintage woodsy folk rock of the early 70s is coming back strong.

Ill have to check that band out...

As for the new circulus I dig it. I just hate that telephone effect and weird bleep noise on the last track, whats up with that? totally detracts from the folky/medievil vibe.

Hey guys. I was just wondering if you could help me find a few new (but old, if you get what I mean) bands to listen to. I'm into music with dark/bleak lyrics but not really Black Metal. More like Animals ("bleating and babbling I fell on his neck with a screeeeeam.")
I'm also trying to get into the more medieval-influenced stuff like In The Court Of The Crimson King the song. If anyone could suggest bands in either of these two categories, or a combination of the two, I'd be really happy.
