rare prog from early 70s

this thread has reached its expiration date apparently. the demographic of this forum is riverside and dragonforce fans exclusively apparently.
And I don't even know any Riverside or Dragonforce tracks. I should be burnt at the stake immediately.

If I knew of a convenient way to get rare records, I'd definitely participate, but sadly the only means of obtaining music I don't have yet is downloading or buying at not-so-obscure shops. Internet shopping and shipping isn't for me and we don't have many rare record stores in Belgium, well at least I know of none.

There is a band called Riverside? That is a city, not a band.
It's also a retail park in my town.

What are people's opinions on Curved Air? I have both Phantasmagoria & Air Cut and I think they are magnificent.

curved air was a quality act. phantasmagoria being my favorite album of theirs..."melinda" is such a beautiful piece of music.

if you like them, you DEFINITELY need to check out Renaissance...theyre the kings (and queen) of female fronted progressive rock.

A great band to drift off to sleep too.... My kids have been getting a heavy rotation of them and Ambeon...

and meth injections so they can stay awake when you play dream theater or liquid tension experiment.

I hardly listen to those discs..... My wife does like LTE though so they might hear them while in the car....

Nektar rules, albums Remember the Future and Recycled, in that order, should be next on your list pertaining to them

read up on what you can out of this thread though, there's a lot of good information and direction, even Mike has posted in here a couple times... also you can use www.progarchives.com for info, references, full song samples, etc.

Yeah, the reason I don't post in here often is because I'm normally reading back through earlier pages of this thread to find new bands.
On another note, I heard We Are Long Lost By Circulus. It's pretty good. Thanks NFU! Any song recommendations of the new album? I like to hear at least 1-2 tracks off an album before I buy it if I don't know the band too well.
