One of the first few mixes I've done so be gentle! But would love to get some feedback, good or bad!

I've not posted a whole lot, but I've lurked the forums for a long time!

Awesome guitar sound, tell us a bit how did you reach that sound pls
Drums sound a bit buried to my ears, too mono and dry.

Ah wow! Thanks a lot!

Left guitar is Caparison TAT II with stock pickups and the following settings.

Impulse as you can probably see is "GuitarHack JJ Centre45 0" from the JJ Powertube Impulses set.

Right guitar was a Jackson DKMGT with the same settings except all TSS settings at 1 o'clock.

EQ wise: Hi-pass and lo-pass at 80hz and about 10khz.
A low shelf at 224hz by 2db and then a 3db cut or two between 500 and 1k to get rid of a bit of airyness.

The drums are DFH then drumagog'd with some samples made by sneapsters.
I know what you mean about them being mono and dry, will aim to fix that soon, maybe get my band's lazy-ass drummer to actually play drums for once! Haha
