My band's recent song called "Dance Of Doom"

[new version below]

it's not limited or anything, so you'll have to crank it.

Any criticism welcome. What can be done to improve this?
Thanks for listening! :)

Overall balance is there. Your mix needs much more copression to sound pro. Espacially snare needs much more impact. Same for kick and toms. Drums are to paper sounding. Don´t be afraid to compress the shit out of that vox. Think the whole mix is lacking some depth too. But as said, eqing seems to sit right.

My two cents:rock:

What drums are you using?

Thanks!
Your post seem to match my thoughts, but i didnt realize that i need more compression. To me, it already sounded pretty squashed :)
and i dont like low mids here...
depth... thats the most difficult part.

drums are samples taken from this forum, mixed with my own ones.

cheers!

Too bad that I'm on laptop speakers, so I can't comment on the actual mix, but those vocals BLEW ME AWAY. Nicely done!

I finally found some time to do this...

your opinions are welcome! :)

IDK if it is the MP3 compression or if the whole mix really sounds too monophonic for my tastes.

Would be much nicer if it were wider.

+1 On the vocal a bit too loud.

Otherwise... Dobra robota :)

sound great ! :)
but I would lay back on those basses. I feel the bass is over powering me, espacially from guitars and bass. I would also bring the symphonic instruments more foward. but overall this is my taste, and this sound really good. nice job :D

HUGE thanks for feedback guys. I really like this forum :D

so i applied your suggestions and it sounds a whole lot better.
