Actually hipsters are generally into "random ass" indie rock with no substance as far as I know. Bands like, say, Junius as an example. Tomahawk on the other hand are a 90s supergroup with members from four highly influential seminal bands from the era. I can't imagine a hipster wanting to go anywhere near them.

Perhaps you simply got the wrong song to represent the band I guess, they're not all lovey songs such as that.

I actually went and had a listen to some of their other stuff on youtube to see if I was being a bit harsh, but no.
